Business Card

I designed my own business card when I was finishing up my Bachelor's in 2022. The goal was to integrate my bunny-cat mascot and the colors that I've developed for my brand.

To start, I created some sketches in my sketchbook. For the back, I initially tried to have a dark background surrounding the character, but I felt that it was a bit empty. Instead I added clouds and pops of color around the bunny-cat to create the ethereal feeling I was looking for.

As for the back, I initially wanted to do a forest that holds my information. I wanted it to serve as a juxtaposition with being in the ground while the back was in the clouds. Alternatively, I kept the sky theme from the back but simplified the details so that the text would be the main focus.

I went through multiple iterations of the card. I initially put a qr-code as a means to my portfolio right in the center and kept a really simple fun aside from the script I used for my name. After feedback from a professor who has experience in graphic design and marketing, I altered my design so that the qr code was a lot smaller. I moved the script to the back of the image to work with the illustration better and chose a different font for the front.

After another glance, I altered the text in the front so that not all the text was in caps. It helped improve the readability of the card.
